Dr. Carola Lingaas is an Associate Professor of Law at VID Specialized University in Oslo (Norway). She earned her PhD in 2017 from the University of Oslo with her thesis on 'The Concept of Race in International Criminal Law', which was published as a monograph by Routledge. Her research focuses on genocide, crimes against humanity, human rights law and migration. Carola holds a Master of Laws degree (University of Zürich, Switzerland) and an LL.M. in Public International Law (University of Oslo, 2005). Carola has more than eight years of experience from the Red Cross, both internationally from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in South Sudan and nationally from the Norwegian Red Cross.
