During the conference Head of the UNESCO Chair on Education and Prevention of Genocide and other Atrocity Crimes at the Institute for Armenian Studies of Yerevan State University Suren Manukyan, researcher Robert Suqiasyan, Narek Poghosyan, Tehmine Martoyan, Vazgen Hakhoyan (Armenian Genocide Museum&Institute Foundation, Armenia), Lusine Poghosyan, Gohar Petrosyan, Mery Karapetyan (Gavar State University), Mariam Topakyan (YSU), Rubina Peroomian (UCLA, Genocide Studies, USA), Carola Lingaas (VID Specialized University, Norway), Nélida Elena Boulgourdjian(University of Buenos Aires and UNTREF, Argentine), Regina Paulose (International Criminal Law Attorney, USA), Melanie O'Brien (Law School, University of Western Australia, Australia), Narelle Fletcher (University of Technology Sydney, Australia), Mariam Avagyan made presentations.
The reports presented during the conference referred to the Armenian Genocide, the Tutsi Genocide in Rwanda, the East Timor Genocide, the Rohingya Genocide in Myanmar, the genocidal policy of Kemalist Turkey, as well as the genocidal policy of Baku towards the Azerbaijani-Armenians. The reports were presented from historical, political, linguistic and legal points of view.
Suren Manukyan, Head of the UNESCO Chair on Education and Prevention of Genocide and other Atrocity Crimes at the Institute for Armenian Studies of Yerevan State University also delivered a speech during the conference. In his report he detailed the threat of genocide caused by the Turkish-Azerbaijani aggression against Armenians bringing many examples, where the representatives of Azerbaijani and "Turkish societies, the first figures of the state, preach anti-Armenian speeches and glorify the man who murdered the Armenian officer while he was sleeping. "The ombudsman in Azerbaijan noted that Ramil Safarov should become an example of true patriotism for Azerbaijani youth." According to Dr. Manukyan, the threat of genocide against the Armenian population of Artsakh remains high at the moment.
